Bats are remarkable animals that warrant increased appreciation. The installation of bat houses in all locations whould be highly benificial.  As pollinators, sed dispensers, and predators of insects that harm crops, basts vital role in maintaining echosystem balance.  They also feed on mosquitoes. Unfortunately, many batspecies are threatened, with a reporductive rate of only one pup a year.  It is imperative that we take measures to conserve these species.
