It is that time of year, the chill is in the air and the sheep leave for the bitter cold winter. The parade is a yearly tradition in Fort Saskatchewan, bringing the community together to walk with the sheep, bidding goodbye til next spring.

There are countless times I visited the sheep with bribes of carrots. An incentive to come closer so I can pet the wolly coat. I also have been mobbed a few times but I learned to hide my treats. ##fortsaskatchewan #sheep #fortheritageprecinct
